Amietia desaegeri is a species of frog in the Pyxicephalidae family. It was formerly placed in the Ranidae family. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo and possibly Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, and heavily degraded former forest.
